Our city

Madinah, the city of the Prophet ﷺ

This is where we work and accompany our clients. A calm city, deep in history, connected to the Kingdom and the world.

A city close to the heart

It was to Madinah that the Prophet ﷺ migrated, and here the first Muslim community was born. Today it is a modern city growing with the Kingdom's Vision, where every district keeps a trace of the Seerah. Our office is here, so we know Madinah the way its people do.

Landmarks of Madinah

Places visitors and residents seek out, each tied to the life of the Prophet ﷺ.

Year 1 AH

The Prophet's Mosque

Built by the Prophet ﷺ after the Hijrah, it is the second of the two holy mosques and holds the Rawdah. Its vast courtyards and great umbrellas welcome worshippers from across the world.

  • The first mosque in Islam

    Quba Mosque

Founded by the Prophet ﷺ on his arrival in Madinah, it was the first mosque built in Islam. According to hadith, praying there equals an Umrah (narrated by al-Tirmidhi).

  • Year 2 AH

    Masjid al-Qiblatayn

Here came the command to turn the qibla from Jerusalem to the Kaaba: a single prayer was performed toward two qiblas, which gave the mosque its name, 'the mosque of the two qiblas'.

  • Battle of Uhud, 3 AH

    Mount Uhud

North of Madinah, at the foot of the mountain, the Battle of Uhud was fought; the martyrs' cemetery lies here, including Hamza ibn Abd al-Muttalib. The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Uhud is a mountain that loves us and we love it' (narrated by al-Bukhari).

  • Line opened in 1908

    Hejaz Railway Station

The terminus of the Hejaz Railway that linked Damascus to Madinah, with its arcaded building. Today it houses a museum on the history of the line.
